Do you ever go to tell a friend something you’re excited about and they tell you not to *jinx* it or immediately knock on wood on your behalf? 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️... this is so confusing to me!
.
I’m big believer in manifesting exactly what you want in life - the big AND small, down to the finest detail. I started doing this at the beginning of the year - and I have to say, I’ve already checked 6 out of 7 things off my list. I’ve been writing down everything I want - whether that’s in work, relationships, health, finances, travel, etc. - and I describe exactly how I want it to be.
.
Going to Barcelona was near the top of my manifestation list. I was CRAVING it - the food, the people, the ocean, the cute little cafes. And it turned out that one of my best friends got an internship in Europe for the summer and asked me to do a Barcelona trip while she was there. I do not think things like this are a coincidence!
.
So next time you’re talking about something you’re excited about - don’t stop!!! Get those thoughts on paper & let them flow. There is so much power in talking about, writing about & visualizing the things you want. xx #sssssweats

SoHo, Manhattan

Headed to BARCELONA tonight for a girls trip!!! 👯‍♀️

I studied abroad in Barca & haven’t been back in years! Getting a sense this trip will be a little different than my study abroad experience though … 😏I’ll also be making a stop in Geneva for a few days at the end of the trip - have never been before and am so excited to experience a new country!

Full disclosure - I most likely won’t be working out on this trip. It’s a short one so I want to soak in all the culture (& food, drinks + CHILLLING) I can. I also love to explore a city by foot - soo walking workout it is. Would love to hear any recs you guys have for either place! xx #sssssweats

HAPPY SUNDAY! Here are some of E’S PRODUCTIVITY TIPS in preparation for the coming week:
.
💛USE AN IPHONE NOTE AS A TO DO LIST — (+ add to it throughout the day as things pop into your head that you’ve been meaning to get done) - make sure to use the ‘checklist’ format so you can check things off your list as you go … I find this very satisfying & motivating.
💛SHARED NOTES — speaking of notes, Dale and I have tons of shared notes set up for things we need to keep track of - upcoming content, captions, sweaty stuff drops - these are like mini google docs on your phone and they are super helpful if you’re working on any kind of list or task with a coworker or friend.
💛SET UP YOUR SPACE FOR WORK — for me, whether I’m working from home, a coffee shop, or somewhere else - I find that my productivity is substantially higher if I have a clean, cleared off space to work from (preferably with a coffee!!!). I am so much more scattered when I’m not set up! Even if this means taking 15 mins to clean up before I get started working, the end result is well worth it.
💛UTILIZE AIRPLANE TIME — I’m going to sound like a total weirdo here, but long flights are my literal favorite for getting work done. Again - set up your space as much as you can (don’t have a bunch of bags or clutter). This is a perfect time to crank through a few solid hours work with little to no distraction potential. Make sure your comp is charged beforehand (weirdly have been on a lot of flights with no plugs lately, WTF) and buy your WiFi plan before take off ... so much cheaper!
💛TIME BLOCKING — this is something Dale taught me and it has helped with scheduling my days so much! If you have a few calls to schedule for Monday, set them up all in a row so you can knock them out in a block without breaking up your day. If I have a call every few hours it gets in the way of my workflow in a major way.
