Class + Studio: FULL BODY HOTTIE + CORE CAMP @ Creative Core
Location: Chelsea (NYC), Virtual + Outdoor Class (Madison Square Park, NYC)
Length: 50 mins.
Description:
In-studio: classical pilates reformer class with a strong focus on form and a megaformer pace. Incorporates the reformer, chair, pull up bar and springboard. This is a full body burnout with a strong focus on core. It moves very quickly, with limited time for transitions (each move is counted down) & form perfection is key and is an absolute cardio burn out! Full Body is similar but will work all body parts, with several cardio bursts throughout.
Outdoor and virtual: Classes have no reformer, but use props to replicate the same effect + similar moves.
Sweat Level: 6/10 – More than your average reformer class! Heart rate will be up.
Intensity Level: 8/10 – Your limits will be pushed and there are few breaks. No mercy here.
Tone Level: 9/10 – Very solid tone, especially for your abs. One of the hardest reformer classes.
Cult Level: 6/10 – There are loyal class regulars here, but with only 4 people per class, it’s hard to pick up on much of a cult vibe.
Sneakers/Props: In-studio: Grip socks required. Outdoor: bring a mat, bands and a pilates ball if you want, but they can also provide. For virtual: have those props handy.
Shower/Locker Situation: 1 shower + products! Complimentary water and tea. Nothing for outdoor workouts.
Vibe: Bootcamp style Pilates vibes. The space is within a residential complex and has an intimate vibe – very no frills, but people come for the solid burnout. The extremely small class size (just 4 machines) makes it feel like a private session, so you’ll get a TON of attention. Outdoor: a semi private – Kristen (owner) also records it for her virtual session, but don’t be fooled, she will not miss a beat when it comes to your form. She is also a hoot and makes a ton of jokes, we love her!

Extras: On ClassPass (#10AndUnder). The class is quite advanced, so we wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. The owner’s very cute dog hangs out at the studio – definitely a bonus. Outdoor classes are not on ClassPass, and classes are $25 for a la carte (there are also packages available) which is a great deal.
Go Back? ABS-olutely! One of the best pilates workouts.
