Description: A bodyweight bootcamp-style workout. The founder, Coss, started the method while in prison and lost 70lbs. He began sharing it, and eventually opened their LES studio, which hires formerly incarcerated individuals to teach. Their outdoor workout is equipment-free & entirely bodyweight based. We came on a more ‘cardio-focused’ day, but they often switch up the focus. Think: burpees, jump squats, plank jacks and more.

Sweat level: 8/10 – Be prepared to sweat in this cardio meets strength training class!

Intensity Level: 8.5/10 – This workout is INTENSE, but they offer tons of modifications. Even though this class was equipment, don’t be fooled – it was tough.

Tone level: 7.5/10 – Very toning, but with added cardio throughout.

Cult level: 5/10 – Conbody has a very loyal following, but we didn’t feel out of place as newbies. The instructors were incredibly welcoming – made us feel like a team!

Vibe: Great energy, very encouraging vibe. We love their concept.

Go back? We are so glad we went. While this isn’t our typical ‘style’ of workout, we truly enjoyed mixing it up. If we liked bootcamp classes more, we’d definitely go back often.
