Class + Studio: Get Lifted @ Jane Do

Location: NYC (Flatiron), New Jersey (Hoboken, Edgewater, Montclair, Jersey City)

Length: 50 mins.

Description: A mix of step-inspired aerobics and strength training. Class begins with basic step up moves to increase your heart rate and gets progressively harder as more is added to the routine. This is followed by a strength training + sculpting segment using a weight and a resistance band. Class finishes with an ab series and a final cardio segment.

Sweat Level: 7/10 – Plan to sweat in this class! Perhaps because it was the dead of winter, it took us a while to heat up initially, but we were quickly stripping down to our sports bras! May require a hair wash.

Tone Level: 7/10 – A great mix of cardio & strength training.

Cult Level: 2/10 – No cultiness at ALL (might be because this studio recently opened). Everyone is super welcoming!

Sneakers/Props: Sneakers!

Shower/Locker Situation: 2 showers, 2 bathroom stalls, tons of products, blow dryers & digi locks.

Vibe: Very much girl boss vibes. This studio was created by women, for women and you can fully feel it! All about building strength & confidence.

Similar to: ‘Jabs x Tone’ with Gina Dinapoli (choreography is simplified at JaneDo).

Extras: On Classpass for now (we’re not sure how long it’ll stay). First time special in Flatiron: buy 1 get 1 free & their other locations have $40 for 7 days unlimited.

Go Back? Yes! This class was a really enjoyable cardio option. Our favorite JaneDo class so far.
