Class + Studio: ‘SPICE N SWEATS’ with Nwando Emejulu

Description: Nwando is an amazing NYC Pilates instructor and her Zoom classes are mat Pilates based with bursts of cardio. They always incorporate a ton of core, and each class has a body focus (full body, glutes/thighs, arms and abs, etc).
Sweat Level: 6/10 – You will heat up!
Tone Level: 9/10 – Her workouts will leave every muscle activated and burned out. It’s a serious toner, and she is known for it.
Cult Level: 6/10 – Nwando is an IYKYK type of instructor with lots of regulars. Her welcoming, positive energy is super contagious.
Sneakers/Props: While are moves can be modified without equipment, here’s what she recommends: sliders (towels or slippery socks), hand weights (or other weighted items), loop bands and/or a small ball (pilates ring or pillow).

Vibe: Uplifting vibes all around. Nwando makes everyone feel amazing about their strength and ability – she is a very feel-good instructor and a light in the fitness community.
