Length: 60 mins (but went over)

Description: Hybrid between strength training + barre. Heavily focused on core, with lots of arm work & glute work. Use of props like weights, gliders, bands and a ball.

Sweat Level: 5/10

Tone Level: 9/10 – Very toning! One of the best core workouts we’ve found outside of pilates.

Cult Level: 11/10 – This is the ‘Akin’s Army’ of NYSC … Kira’s following is REAL. The “Stokers” line up in the front row wearing “Stoked” t-shirts – we got major sorority recruitment vibes. If you’re a newbie you might be asked to go to the back row.

Sneakers/Props: Sneakers!

Shower/Locker Situation: Since class is in the NYSC Lab, there is lots of space, showers, lockers & products.

Vibe: No pain no gain vibes. Kira will give you a kick a$$ workout that matches her personality. She won’t be warm a&nd fuzzy, but she’s clearly very good at what she does.

Similar to: FlyFit, Flybarre Sport, Sculpt at Fithouse

Extras: On ClassPass (peak time low creds!). Pay attention during class and modify if you can’t do the moves 100% correctly, or you’ll be called out.

Go Back? Yes, when we’re in the mood for a good core burn but don’t know if we’ll ever be part of the“crew.”
