Description: Yoga meets strength and power: this class is the perfect combo of vinyasa flows, strength training & cardio moves. You’ll go back and forth between the two throughout class, and it makes time fly by. Lots of core, too!
Sweat Level: 9/10 – Was sweating immediately (room is quite hot), and you’ll be seriously dripping by the time the squats and jumping jacks start!
Tone Level: 7.5/10 – Quite effective! Loved that this class lengthens & stretches, but also builds muscle.
Cult Level: 5/10 – Low cult level. Very friendly staff. Also lots of regulars!
Sneakers/Props: Barefoot. Bring your own mat + towel or rent both (for $5 & shower towel for an extra $2). Only prop you’ll use is a yoga block.
Shower/Locker Situation: There are showers and lockers (with keys!)
Vibe: Minimalistic / low-frill studio. The actual room you’ll do yoga in is nice: exposed brick, very clean and high ceilings. Everyone is very friendly!
Extras: On ClassPass! Alyssa is a fab instructor.
