Description: A fast-paced mix of cardio + sculpting: use props & each move is repeated many times in a row. Sculpting moves are dance inspired (def takes practice to learn!). Teachers do not speak throughout the class + do not assist you, have to follow along.
Sweat level: 10/10 – Room is heated and you will sweat in places you didn’t think possible … grab ALL the towels.
Tone level: 8/10 – Incredibly toning if you’re experienced. It takes quite a few classes to really get comfortable. Be careful if you’re new to this as you can easily get injured if you don’t know what you’re doing!
Cult level: 10/10 – Highly culty. Most people who come here are members (& many come 2x a day!!) This place is not really meant for a la- carte class goers.
Sneakers/props: Sneakers and all the water
Shower/locker situation: Gorgeous! One of the best parts of coming here is getting ready after. Lots of showers & space to get ready.
Vibe: It can definitely come across as pretentious (esp. for non- members) but it’s so luxe you’ll definitely feel expensive just being there.
Similar to: Body By Simone (Simone used to work at Tracy!)
Extras: Take note of when member classes vs. non-member classes are taking place – atTAin is the best one for first timers. The smoothie bar is also awesome!
Go back? Used to go a lot, but for $45 a class, it’s not exactly worth it to us (considering there’s little guidance from the instructor). It’s also very hard to follow along if you don’t go often.
