Length: 60 mins (but they sometimes offer a 45 min express option)

Description: Traditional barre, with low impact sculpting using light weights, bands, mat + ball. Begins with a warmup (cardio/pushups/triceps), followed by arms, thighs, short push up/tricep series, glutes & abs. Finishes with a stretch

Sweat Level: 4.5/10 – Low impact/small moves = not too sweaty.

Tone Level: 8/10 – We always forget how hard this class is (especially the mid thigh series!) The little green ball of hell will make your thighs burn & shake. Modifications offered!

Cult Level: 5/10 – Many ClassPassers

Sneakers/Props: Grip socks are required. If you don’t bring, you’ll have to purchase there.

Shower/Locker Situation: Showers, lockers & the works. Flatiron has the most showers. Gramercy is located in the hotel’s spa, so there’s less space/showers.

Vibe: Great place for all levels. Welcoming to all! Lacks a bit of the community vibe from class-goers. All different ages/levels. Music could be definitely be improved!

Extras: On CP. You also have to rush after you put weights away to claim a barre spot. Pro tip: claim barre spot with mat and then go wait in line to put weights away.

Go Back? Used to be our GO-TO spot. No particular reason why we don’t go as much anymore (prob because we don’t live as close and there are SO many barre options now) … Will go back soon!
